Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet and for appreciating my work! I'm Manya, the heart and soul of the clay way. I am an engineer during the day and a jewelry maker by the night.

 

The clay way started out as an escape for me. I realised that I needed this little shop to light the creative fire inside me that had dimmed over the years. I wanted an outlet to gain artistic freedom and break the monotony of my day-to-day life, and the clay way provided just that.

 

I have been working with ceramic clay for over 2 years now. In 2020, I discovered polymer clay and instantly fell in love with it. Clay is both a delicate and a forgiving medium - every mistake can be transformed into something magical! It's delightful to see that something that started out simply as a passion project to dawdle my time during the lockdown has turned into a cute small business!

​Witnessing an idea conceptualize into a product has been the most exciting part of this journey. Figuring out everything from scratch, be it designing the logo, honing my skills to improve the design and quality of the accessories, understanding the logistics and what-not has given me utmost pleasure! ​
